Helping My Children Become Themselves (30 hours)
Discover what is needed for the development of a child’s unique personality
Objectives: ▪ To clarify what you live with each child in a unique way ▪ To find out how it is possible to help each child develop according to their unique personality
Content: ▪ A first step consists of bringing out into the open the framework of reference which you may or may not be aware of, and to which you refer, as a parent or educator, when reacting to or interacting with children ▪ The essential part of this workshop revolves around the legitimate aspirations and needs of children with respect to their parents or other responsible adults Seven axes of responsibility make up the object of this research: - That the child be recognised in who they are, with regard to their potential and their aspirations - That the child be loved "for themselves" and not for the satisfaction which they can bring - That the child receives the security that they need - That the child can be a child and not a "mini-adult" - That the child be accompanied during their many learning experiences - That the unique character of each child be valued - That the unmet or abnormal needs be taken into account while raising children
